'Northern Lights' is a clump-forming, variegated cultivar that forms a dense tussock (to 16" tall) of thin, slightly arching, tapered blades (to 1/4" wide) which are variegated with gray and gold streaks. As the summer progresses, blades mature to gold with pinkish tips.
