Some monardas are commonly called beebalm in reference to a prior use of the leaves as a balm for bee stings. 'Croftway Pink' is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial with aromatic, lance-shaped leaves and terminal whorls of two-lipped, 2 1/2 in. long, clear rose pink flowers with pink tinged bracts.
