Sempervivum calcareum 'Sir William Lawrence' is an evergreen, mat-forming, succulent perennial, up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms rosettes of fleshy, ovate, pointed, grey-green and maroon-tipped leaves. Short spikes of pink flowers appear in summer.
