Photinia are a small group of evergreen or semi-evergreen shrubs often used as a hedge or edge. The most common variety, Photinia x fraserii, or Fraser's Photinia is sought after for its bright red new foliage that turns green over time. Photinia can be a challenging plant to grow, but the results are worth it.
