Pineapple mint is a botanically classified as Mentha suaveolens ‘Variegata’. It is a perennial herb and a subspecies of Apple mint (Mentha suaveolens). Its stunning green and white streaked leaves can occasionally sprout rogue sprigs of solid coloration.
