Sage or Salvia officinalis 'Icterina' is a variagted version of common or Garden sage, and is a small perennial evergreen plant with woody stems. Icterina Sage grows to approximately 1m tall and wide, with lavender/violet flowers in late spring or summer, but it is the leaves that this variety is grown for t he new foliage is a beautiful mottled, gold and sage-green and of course, is edible.
