Sempervivum 'Black' (Hens & Chicks) is a mat-forming succulent perennial forming attractive, evergreen rosettes of thick, fleshy, bright green leaves adorned with dark, burgundy tips. As the weather cools, the entire rosette darkens to a lovely purplish-bronze for showy fall color.
